Moffatt & Nichol’s Larry Nye delivers keynote address
Larry Nye, Moffatt & Nichol’s director of Port Planning and Analysis Services, is scheduled to give a keynote address at Tackling Shipping Emissions: Steering a Cleaner Course – a one-day conference scheduled for 4 October 2007 in London.
Mr. Nye’s topic, “Reducing emissions at ports through the use of cold-ironing,” will include information on the process of cold ironing, Moffatt & Nichol’s own system for measuring emissions for port estates, and current applications of this technology.
The event, which is organized by the Waterfront Conference Company, is being held at the offices of Stephenson Harwood, One St Paul’s Churchyard. The conference is expected to bring together scientists, U.K. and European government officials and the industry’s key players to discuss maritime emissions and plan for the future.
